Formidex is a free online image editing tool. All processing takes place exclusively in the user's browser. Formidex does not store, transmit, or process any images on its own servers.

The tools are provided as-is without any warranty. Formidex makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or quality of processing results.

In particular, AI-powered tools (background removal, text recognition, upscaling, face detection, image captioning) may produce inaccurate or imprecise results. The user is responsible for reviewing results before use.

Formidex is not liable for any damages arising from the use of the tools. Formidex is not liable for the loss of image data. Since processing takes place locally, responsibility for data backup lies with the user.

Formidex is not liable for the suitability of results for any particular purpose. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence under German law.

The user retains all rights to their uploaded and processed images. Formidex claims no rights to user images. The user is responsible for ensuring they have the rights to uploaded images. Using the tools to violate third-party copyrights is prohibited.

Formidex is offered free of charge. There is no entitlement to continuous availability. Formidex may be changed, restricted, or discontinued at any time without notice.

Formidex uses open-source AI models from third parties (Hugging Face, Google MediaPipe, Tesseract). These models run in the user's browser and are subject to their respective licenses. Formidex is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or availability of these models.

Formidex reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time.
