What is Image Metadata?
Image metadata is invisible information stored in every image file. The most important type is EXIF data (Exchangeable Image File Format), automatically written by the camera. It contains capture date, camera model, exposure settings, and often the GPS location.
Beyond technical data, metadata can also include IPTC information: title, description, copyright, and keywords. Professional photographers use these fields to catalog their images and embed copyright notices.

How does the Metadata tool work?
