All image tools in Formidex (compression, conversion, background removal, OCR, etc.) run entirely in the user's browser (client-side). Images are neither uploaded nor stored.

Formidex downloads AI models from Hugging Face (huggingface.co) and Google (storage.googleapis.com) on first use of certain tools. These models run in your browser and are cached locally. Model downloads go through the respective providers' CDN servers. Standard connection data (IP address, browser type) may be transmitted. No image data is ever sent to Hugging Face, Google, or Formidex.

Formidex uses the following local storage mechanisms: Cache API and IndexedDB for downloaded AI models. sessionStorage for UI settings within a session (deleted when the browser closes). localStorage for cookie consent and color scheme preferences. No personal data or image data is stored locally.

This website is hosted by Vercel Inc. (340 S Lemon Ave #4133, Walnut, CA 91789, USA). When accessing the website, information (IP address, time, browser type) is automatically stored in server log files. This is technically necessary and based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Data transfer to the USA is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF). Vercel is certified under the DPF.

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements. Google AdSense uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your interests. Usage is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

You can disable personalized advertising in your Google Ads Settings.

We use Google Analytics for website usage analysis. IP addresses are anonymized (IP masking). Usage is based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Formidex uses Google Consent Mode v2. On your first visit, you will be asked whether you accept cookies for advertising and analytics. Without your consent, only technically necessary functions are activated.

Your consent decision is stored in your browser (localStorage) and can be revoked at any time.
